PumaWebSave

PumaWebSave enables saving of web pages to pdf documents for use during internet down situations. Use PumaWebSave as a part of your emergency preparedness activities.

Instructions:

  1. Open one of the files below in the browser.
  2. Select the contents of the file and click on ‘Share’ and then ‘Save to Files’.
  3. Rename the file if desired or accept the default name.
  4. You may select a location to save the file or accept the default location.
  5. Click on ‘Save’.
  6. Click on ‘PumaLoad’. If the load was not successful you will see an error message.
  7. Click on ‘PumaSave’. Wait. You will see a message if the save to pdf was successful.
  8. Open the Files app and navigate to the PumaWebSave folder. Your pdf files will be there.

If you wish to use your own text file for input, the format is as follows:

  1. First line of the file contains the number of websites in the file. For example, if the first line is 10, there are 10 URLs listed on the following lines.
  2. The subsequent lines are the URLs for the websites you want to save followed by a space and a name for the generated pdf file. If you’d like the name to be generated from the URL name, type USEURL for the name (see examples).
