PumaBinder

PumaBinder provides access to documents that you should have on you during an preparedness situation. PumaBinder has categories with suggestions on the types of documents to store. You can also configure the categories to what you desire. PumaBinder can show, view, play documents of type docx, doc, pdf, txt, jpeg, jpg, png, mp4, mov, wav, mp3, and m4a.

Instructions for use:

  1. Take photos of key documents using the device’s camera. Copy or download other documents locally.
  2. The first screen is the category screen which has suggestions on different categories of documents to save such as identification, will, and insurance. Click on a category.
  3. The second screen allows you to save links to the documents or to view the documents. To create a link to the document, click select. Find and pick the desired document.
  4. Name the document by modifying the name field. By default, the document is named “Empty”.
  5. To save, click the top right button that looks like a page with a downarrow.
  6. To view the document, click the category and then click the green view/play button. The document should appear.

There are two folders consisting of eight categories each.

For verbal instructions, click on a category and click on the play button for any entry named ‘Empty’.
